Department of Chemistry – Government College Satnali

The Department of Chemistry is one of the prestigious departments of Government College Satnali and was established in 2016. The Department has M.Sc. Chemistry post graduates B.Sc. (Medical) and B.Sc. (Non-Medical) undergraduate programmes. The Department has laboratory facilities for carrying out practical knowledge of the fields such as: Organic Synthesis, Chemical Analysis, Instrumentation etc. Chemistry Laboratory is equipped with instruments like pH meter, conductometer, water distillation unit, Heat air oven, Suction pump, Kipp’s apparatus, Hot plate with magnetic stirrer, Potentiometer etc. Chemistry lab also has wide variety of chemical reagents in order to carry out practical work properly which help the students for learning the concepts efficiently. The lab is quite spacious and very well ventilated to ensure proper availability of light in it.
