According to Dr. S.R. Ranganathan, Library is
a public institution or establishment charged with the care of collection books
and duty of making them accessible to those who acquire the use of them. The
Library of Govt. College Satnali is well-equipped for academic and intellectual
needs. It is very large and has spacious reading room. It consists of 2735
books with 1191 titles. It subscribes Hindi and English Newspaper (7), Magazines
and Journals (33). It has separate reading section for staff and students. It
is connected with internet Wi-Fi and photocopier. Its objective is to make up
to date and to give authentic information to the Students. It is used by all
Teachers, Students of the College. It develops
a habit of deep study. Library provides facilities for teaching, learning and
research.
There is no friend as loyal as a book – Ernest Hemingway.
