Monsoon Plantation Drive 2026

In accordance with the directions issued by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate, Mahendergarh at Narnaul, Government College Satnali, Mahendergarh organized a Monsoon Plantation Drive on 16 July 2026 within the college campus. The programme was conducted with the objective of promoting environmental conservation, increasing green cover, and creating awareness among students and staff regarding the importance of tree plantation.
The plantation drive was conducted under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Sudhir Kumar Lamba, who encouraged all participants to contribute towards protecting the environment and maintaining ecological balance. During the programme, 20 saplings of different varieties were planted at suitable locations across the college campus. The Principal highlighted the importance of trees in combating climate change, improving air quality, and ensuring a sustainable future. He also urged everyone to take responsibility for the proper care and maintenance of the planted saplings.
The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 25 individuals, including students and teaching as well as non-teaching staff members. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Ashish and Dr. Vipin, who served as the Programme In-charges and ensured the smooth execution of the plantation drive. Prominent participants included Birender Singh, Jarnal Singh, Dr. Rekha Shekhawat, Shweta, Ajit Singh, Kuldeep Upadhyay, and Pardeep Sangwan, along with other faculty members and staff of the college.
The plantation drive concluded successfully with all participants taking a pledge to protect and nurture the planted saplings and to continue contributing towards environmental conservation. The programme not only enhanced the greenery of the college campus but also inspired students and staff to adopt environmentally responsible practices in their daily lives. The event reflected the institution's commitment to sustainable development and its active participation in the State-wide Monsoon Plantation Campaign.
